Kåbdajaure lies about 15 kilometres north of Vuollerim. The most suitable way to the reserve is at Murjek to turn onto a large logging road heading westwards and follow the road for about 14 kilometres as far as the eastern reserve boundary. Just where the road passes the reserve there is a roughly 1.2-kilometre logging road into the central part of the reserve. This latter road however, is overgrown and unsuitable for an ordinary car.

Kåbdajaure is located about 15 kilometers north of Vuollerim. The most convenient route to the reserve is to turn west onto a major forest road in Murjek and follow the road for about 14 kilometers to the eastern reserve boundary. Just where the road crosses the reserve, there is a forest road about 1.2 kilometers long that leads into the central part of the reserve. However, the road has become overgrown and is difficult to drive with a normal car. The best thing to do is to park your car at the reserve boundary and walk in.

All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - hike - camp - make a small fire with loose branches and twigs - pick berries and edible mushrooms - drive snowmobiles on well snow-covered ground - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws

Among other things, it is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Keep in mind the right of public access and protect nature.
