Beskrivelse
Iso Linkkavaara is a scenic area with steep drops, boulder strewn slopes and impressive ancient trees that bear the scars of forest fires that occurred centuries ago. On the slopes, the forest is productive and has large elements of deciduous trees. Around several watercourses the vegetation is lush, with species such as Red Baneberry and Herb-paris. The area is 3 square kilometres in size.

At Ängesån stream, which lies southeast of Lansjärv, turn left towards the village of Lövberget. Follow the road for about 10 km, then the reserve is on your left. The reserve lies about 3.5 kilometres northwest of Torasjärvi.

Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hiking - camping - making fires - picking berries and edible mushrooms - driving snowmobiles on snow-covered ground - fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
