Beskrivelse
Hästholmen is a low, elongated peninsula which in the southern part joins Svartholmen on Sandön island. This unbuilt-up area is covered by spruce and birch forest and has high natural values. The whole area is 0.3 square kilometres and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the land area. There is also a ban on jet skis, and special regulations apply to hunting, see the reserve designation on the County Administrative Board website.

Hästholmen is located on southern Sandön in the Luleå archipelago, about 11 kilometers southeast of central Luleå.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a small fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood or use only loose branches or twigs
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fish in accordance with the laws in force
Among other things, it is not allowed to:
- disturb plant or animal life
- drive snowmobiles on the mainland
- operate personal watercraft
- littering
Special rules apply to hunting in the nature reserve, which you can read more about in the reserve decision. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
