Beskrivelse
In the nature reserve there are 13 little islands and a number of small skerries. The biggest islands are Båtöharun and Stora Hindersöharun. The area is 28 square kilometres in size of which 0.8 square kilometres is dry land, and there is a ban on snowmobiling on the islands.

Harufjärden is located in the northeastern part of the Luleå archipelago, about 2.5 miles east of Bensbyn.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire, but not directly on rocks. Remember to bring your own firewood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- fish in accordance with the laws in force
Special rules apply to hunting in the nature reserve, which you can read more about in the reserve decision. It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles on the island or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
Landing is prohibited on Hällgrundet between May 1 and July 31. It is also forbidden to stay within 200 meters of the islands.
