Beskrivelse
In the western part of the reserve there are two mountains, Käryvaara and Harsu, which rise to above 260 metres a s l. Then the area levels out and to the east gradually gives way to a forest and mire mosaic crossed by two brookside wetlands. The area is 6.2 square kilometres in size.

Kommunikasjon
It is about 10 kilometres to the reserve from the community of Pajala. However, it is not possible to get there by car, since the road is closed off.

Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - hike - camp - make a small fire with loose branches and twigs - pick berries and edible mushrooms - drive snowmobiles on well snow-covered ground - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws
Among other things, it is not permitted to damage plant and animal life or to litter. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
