Beskrivelse
The nature reserve takes its name from the stream that runs through the area from north to south. In the other direction lie hilly sand ridges separated by peat bog, giving the area a striped appearance. The area is 3.8 square kilometres in size.

Grundträskån stream lies about 17 kilometres northwest of Morjärv, in the northernmost point of Kalix Municipality. From the E10 between Morjärv and Svartbyn, a road runs west to Östansjö and Kälvjärv. At Kälvjärv, you can turn on to another road heading southwest, which takes you as far as the reserve.

Grundträskån is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Morjärv, in the northernmost tip of Kalix municipality. From the E10 road between Morjärv and Svartbyn, there is a turn-off to the west to Östansjö and Kälvjärv. At Kälvjärv you can turn off onto another road to the southwest and reach the reserve.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
