Beskrivelse
In Björknäs there is old-growth spruce forest with elements of birch and primary pine. The forest comprises everything from young spruce to ancient trees and fallen trees that have been left, forming habitats for different lichen and wood-living fungi. The area is 0.6 square kilometres in size.

From road 95 about 18 kilometres south of Arjeplog, a logging road leads into the village of Björknäs. The nature reserve lies east of the village.

The reserve is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Arjeplog. From road 95 about 18 kilometers south of Arjeplog, there is a forest road that goes to the village of Björknäs, the nature reserve is located east of the village.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- camping
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- pick berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
