Beskrivelse
As the name Aspbergen ("Aspen mountains") implies, there are plenty of aspens and other deciduous trees in the forests here. Old-growth, untouched spruce forest, waterlogged forest and verdant brookside settings are other environments in the reserve worthy of protection. The biodiversity is striking. No less than 70 species are nationally red listed. One of them is crown-tipped coral fungus, which grows on dead, lying aspen. The area is 3.4 square kilometres in size. It is forbidden to light a fire in this nature reserve.

Aspbergen lies about 12 kilometres south southeast of Vuollerim. The reserve is reached by the public road between Vuollerim and Puottaure. Turn south off from road 97 at Vuollerim and pass Kåikul village and the bridge over Görjeån stream. After about 14 kilometres you arrive at the reserve.

All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is permitted to: - hike - camp - pick berries and edible mushrooms - drive snowmobiles on snow-covered ground - fish and hunt in accordance with applicable laws
Among other things, it is not permitted to: - make fires - damage plant and animal life.
