Beskrivelse
Abborrtjärnhuvudena is a mountain with two summits, covered by pine forest. There are a good deal of mossy stones and dead fallen trees on the ground. From the south summit you look over the valley of the Råne river. There are no facilities within the area. The area covers 0.6 square kilometres.

Kommunikasjon
The nature reserve lies 5 km northwest of Niemisel community in Boden Municipality. A logging road leads to the southern part of the area.
Veibeskrivelse
The nature reserve is located about 5 kilometers northwest of Niemisel. The most suitable access to the reserve from the public road is from the south, via Niemisel. There is a forest road that goes to the southern part of the area.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hike
- make a fire, remember to bring your own wood!
- picking berries and mushrooms
- ride a snowmobile
- fish and hunt in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
