How about discovering Laholm from above? Below, we’ve listed three viewpoints that are sure to let you see the area in a completely new way!

Spisehall

Discover Spisehall, the highest peak of Hjörnered. Starting out as a village, Hjörnered’s water level was raised by 11 meters when a hydroelectric power plant was built nearby in 1922, resulting in the fantastic recreational area it is today. This spot is perfect for canoeing, fishing, and camping. There are several lovely hiking trails available as well. By following the green trail, starting either at Hjörnered’s encampment area, or Vippentorpet, you’ll reach Spisehall, where you can enjoy a full view of the Hjörnered area. Windshields and a barbeque area are available here as well.

The Beech Forests of Osbeck

Situated at the top of Hallandsås, is the Osbeck nature reserve. This area is full of vantage points where amazing views can be enjoyed! An easily accessible one is located a few hundred meters from the main parking lot. The view here spans miles over Laholm. You’ll also find picnic tables and a barbeque area here.

Örelid’s Ancient Burial Grounds

In the village of Tjärby, just outside Laholm, you’ll find Örelid’s burial grounds. When viewed from Tjärby’s church, the burial ground can be seen on the horizon. Situated on a late Ice Age beach embankment, the burial ground contains 36 raised stones and 4 mounds from the bronze age. The view from the Burial Ground is truly breathtaking; Hallandsåsen, the coast, and neighboring area Båstad can be seen. We especially recommend visiting this spot during springtime, when the surrounding fields are in full bloom!
