Sporryd

Along the Sigfridsleden Trail, you'll find a mill and several cottage foundations that are part of cultural history. In addition, you'll experience some natural tranquillity. Walk or bike to Sporryd and you'll encounter some very pleasant surprises. Long-tailed tits and marsh tits can be found along the alders of the stream. Nesting cranes and areas with lots of wild berries can also be found close by.
In the summer, the thistles at the side of the road host Burnet moths. These distinctly coloured moths, which resemble butterflies, contain a small dose of cyanide. The message to predators is clear. "Don't eat me. I'm poisonous".
