Earth Week in Växjö 2021 The area around Braås park has been used by humans for centuries. The unique tree environments and pastures have grown and been shaped by centuries of agricultural activity on the site. In the middle of the 18th century, an ironworks was established, and in the early 19th century an English park was created, the structures of which can still be seen today. Parts of the stately avenues date from this time. There is a pebble ridge from the Ice Age and north of the old narrow-gauge railway you will find Drakhuset. Braås park has been a nature reserve since 2000. Here in the nature reserve there are several ecosystem services such as pollination, air purification, water purification, cultural experiences and the mental well-being that nature contributes.

Braås park is located west of Braås, along the road towards Ramkvilla.
