Marsholm is the largest island in Lake Möckeln and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. On the island, you’ll find Marsholm Farm with a farm museum, and it’s easy to get around the island by bike. There are also two beautiful hiking trails on the island. Mor Emmelis trail, in the northern part of the island near the bridge abutment, is easy to hike and takes you through a lush forest of noble deciduous trees, mainly oak. The trail runs close to the shore and offers a beautiful view of the lake. The Crofter’s trail, located in the south, winds through a natural forest. Here you will experience many different species of trees, sometimes the forest is dense and sometimes it opens up into small clearings.
