Korrö hantverksby

Old crafts village scenic situated at the river Ronnebyån. Be welcome to have a look into the former crafts buildings, have a cup of coffee or come on a guided gourmet tour.

The origins of Korrö can be dated back to the 17th Century under the name Corra Kvarn. At the end of the 19th Century the Korrö village was at its height with its own tannery and dyeing mill, a sawmill, its own convenience store and more. The river ronnebyån forms an island that is accessible via two old stonebridges.

During the summer you can stroll around and take a look into the well preserved buildings. For larger groups, it's also possible to get a guided tour. Accommodation is offered in a hotel & hostel and there's also a restaurant and café on site. The summer in Korrö offers you a large range of activities such as canoeing, bike-riding and gourmet tours in the nearby nature reserve. Each year in July, Korrö hosts Korröfestivalen, the largest folk-music festival in Scandinavia.
