Fågeltorn Byasjön (Klockaregölen)

From Klockaregölen's bird tower you can experience one of the county's largest gull colonies. The soundscape and teeming life are impressive. The watchful presence of the gulls is important. Nesting ducks and waders also use the protection of the colony. Whooper swan, crane and teal are often seen, as are lapwing and woodcock. Grey heron, red kite, brown harrier and red-winged blackbird also belong to Klockaregölen. In some years there are also coots and moorhens. In April you can listen for the bubbly barking of the field frog and the rough creaking of the common frog.
