Beskrivelse
The village of Klavreström developed a lot during the 1700’s. 1736 were an iron work founded and were named Klafreström’s bruk. The surrounding land with forests guaranteed the production of charcoal which was crucial for the iron work. The production went on until the 1970’s.

Fakta
The water between the lakes Änghultasjön and Norrsjön has been used for a very long time. There is records from 1400’s about a mill which was in the area.

Klavreström is located 40 km north of Växjö. Take road 23/37 towards Oskarshamn and in Nottebäck drive towards Norrhult and Klavreström.
