Hanaslöv friluftsområde

Hanaslöv is an outdoor and recreational area that offers visitors various types of attractions and activities throughout the year.

In winter, Hanaslöv is a fantastic facility for those who love to ski, whether you prefer to ski lengthwise or downhill, for those who prefer snowboarding there is a landscaped Fun Park and last but not least a lovely sledding hill with several nice barbecue areas. Adjacent to the hill is Hanaslövsgården where you can have a coffee or just a cup of coffee. During limited opening hours there is also a kiosk.

In the summer, it is transformed into a lush forest area with opportunities for orienteering, running, cycling, MTB / Downhill and much more. Hanaslöv is also the site of one of Alvesta municipality's legendary places, Pocker's cauldron. It is a cave in a large block. This is where people went on May 1st, begging and fasting. They washed in the water and offered a coin. In this way, they were cured of disease, but if they didn't believe in the cure, they got the diseases others were cured of.

Spånenleden MTB starts at the herding shed which can be found at the start of the exercise trail in Hanaslöv. The trail is approx. 16km and runs as a loop and ends at the start. There can be both cycling and hiking in both directions. Show consideration and take it easy in shady areas. The trail is marked with blue arrows.
