Starting out from the south parking lot of the nature reserve, you can reach the bird tower and the viewing platform after a short walk. The Maden area is a veritable magnet for both resting and nesting birds, and in a special birding location for the Kronoberg Ornithological Association. Come and enjoy the view in Alvesta municipality.

Turn off towards Huseby Bruk from road 23. The reserve parking lot is located at the southern end of Husebymäden. There is a picnic area with a fireplace and an information center / bird tower that can be reached via a rollable gravel road or a nice path.
