Beskrivelse

Bockaskruv’s nature reserve is located between Alstermo and Fröseke. It’s 198 hectares big with forest and mires. A big part of the forest is around 100-170 years old and the majority is affected of wildfires.

There is some ancient monument like rests from iron production, but also some that are more contemporary like haybarns.

Parking space is nearby the reserve.

Drive to Fröseke. There you take the road called “Stationsgatan”. Follow that road for about 100 meters. Turn right on to “Ågatan” and then almost immediately turn left to continue on Ågatan. Follow that road for about 2 km and then remain on the road when it turns into a gravel road. Drive another 1,5 km until you reach the parking space.

You are welcome to visit the nature reserve, but please note that it is not allowed to:

damage the surface or natural objects, for example by digging, drilling, cutting, painting, chiseling or otherwise damaging, for example, rocks, boulders, trees (living and dead), shrubs or other vegetation (peas and mushrooms for domestic use and single specimens of plants may be picked)
drive or park a motorized vehicle or trailer other than in a parking space designated in the established management plan
disturbing wildlife, for example by acting in a foolish manner at a bird's nest or pot
put up a board, sign, poster or similar device
mark out trails, organize orienteering or other competitions that may disturb the natural environment
