Stufvenäs Gästgifveri dates back to the late 18th century when it was built as a guesthouse for the Wärnanäs Estate. At Stufvenäs, tradition and innovation meet in a historic and scenic environment near the sea.

The business has been run and developed since 1987 with great love, care and warmth. Today there is a modern hotel and conference facility with food and drink of the highest class. Here, guests are offered a holistic experience in a harmonious and soothing environment where the guest poison center puts personal hospitality and care in the forefront.

We are a modern hotel with 51 rooms and a reputable restaurant that serves traditional and genuine home cooking in a modern setting. We adapt our menus to seasonal changes and try to use local or Swedish ingredients that are carefully selected as far as possible.

In 2007 there was a burglary in our wine cellar when 17 years of collecting and 6,000 bottles were stolen, today with a market value of around SEK 30,000,000. After the theft, the cellar was locked and has in recent years slowly begun to be rebuilt. Today, the cellar contains around 1,500 bottles and 300 unique labels.

There are bike paths and hiking trails that offer you a relaxing excursion in the surrounding area. Just a stone's throw from Stufvenäs is a shallow sandy beach and the unique nature reserve Örarevet. Feel free to buy a coffee bag for the excursion with homemade buns, homemade juice and freshly brewed climate-smart coffee of the highest quality!

Stufvenäs Spa offers a wide range of treatments and events where power, balance and harmony are in focus. Enjoy hot baths, various saunas or just sit and enjoy the fantastic view of Kalmarsund.
