Smalspåret Västervik–Hultsfred

**The narrow gauge railway between Västervik and Hultsfred is a unique railway. Step on the rail bus and experience what it was like to take a train ride in the past.

7 miles long and 891 millimeters wide, it stretches from the forests of Småland in the west, past lakes, small communities and farms to the archipelago landscape in the east. Since the 1950s, the yellow and orange railcars have been rocking along the narrow-gauge railway. Trains run daily on the heritage-listed railroad throughout the summer.

Take a trip all the way or travel a shorter distance to one of the over 20 different stations along the way. There are light refreshments on board the train.
