Oxebo Vattensåg

**Up in northern Hallingeberg is an old water saw. By the stream between Södersjön and Hunsalasjön, which here forms a small waterfall.

It is not a large and powerful waterfall that has been the driving force for decades, but large enough to drive the large water wheel around and generate energy through "underfall".

The water wheel had been turning and producing energy for many years before the newer forms of energy were developed and used. The water wheel was the driving force until around 1948 when it broke down, and that was the end of the water saw era at Oxebo.
