The hunting
season is underway in the forest! Elk hunting takes place between October 8th,
and January 31st.
Please pay
close attention to signs indicating that hunting is in progress. You are always
welcome to hike on our trails, but if hunting is taking place in the area, we
encourage you to choose a different location.
Here are
some tips during the hunting period:
- Respect all signs indicating that hunting is in progress.
- Wear bright-colored clothing to make yourself visible.
- Stick to the designated trails.
- If you encounter a hunter, try to make contact to determine if it's safe to continue. This can be done with a brief whistle, a wave, or, of course, by speaking to each other if possible.
Beskrivelse
The third stage of the trail starts at the overnight cottage in Lönhult. At first, it follows the highway between Hultsfred and Kristdala to turn off and cross the bridge over the outlet from Nejern. After a short walk, you will find the village of Skinshult, which dates back to the 16th century. The trail follows winding forest roads and forest paths, eventually reaching the beautiful agricultural landscape at the village of Sjöändemåla. The walk continues over the road between Ishult and Kristdala and continues on soft forest paths past Möllekulla village. Soon you will see the large and beautiful lake Tvingens water mirror, make sure to have your swimwear ready because there are great swimming opportunities here. At the outlet of the lake there is a small waterfall at Karlsfors old mill. In the past, there was also a saw, rag paper mill and bone stamp. The hike continues on the path past Lake Storyttern, also here there are good swimming opportunities. The trail passes a boulder area, the largest of which, Påskallesten, is as high as a two-story house. At the eastern end of the lake there are several old house foundations after an old craft village, Ytteryd. The trail continues through the forest. The stage destination is the beautifully situated overnight cottage near the eastern shore of Lake Krokstorp. Shortly before you pass Krokstorp's fine swimming area. The cabin is locked and the key is in the mailbox at the house on the hill just before the cabin.

The right of public access gives you many opportunities when you visit nature. Remember that it also places some demands on you so that we can all enjoy nature and keep it clean and tidy. Some tips are:
- You are not allowed to walk on anyone's property or plantings.
- Take your garbage home with you
- Park your vehicle in places that do not disturb nature, residents and other road users

Etape 4 til Krokstorp var helt ömoglig, alla markeringer var borta, og vi gik vilse i timar.
