Kattrumpans badplats

Just on the outskirts of Kalmar's city center is the popular bathing area with the slightly different name - Kattrumpan. There is a sandy beach with a jetty, but also a green area with a playground. The bathing area is located at Kalmar's city wall, which means many windless places on the beach. Toilets, showers and changing facilities are available.

Accessibility: From Östra Vallgatan, the bathing area is reached by about ten steps. If you want to avoid stairs, there is an easily accessible gravel road that goes from Norra Långgatan. On the beach there is a bathing ramp and a toilet for the disabled.
