At the far end of the campsite, a swimming area with several small sandy beaches has been set up entirely for dogs. The bath is fenced in so that the dogs can run free.

Good to keep in mind

According to local regulations, dogs are not allowed in the municipality's public bathing areas between May 1 and August 31 (different rules apply to police dogs, guide dogs for the visually impaired and the like).

It is important that you as a dog owner show consideration and keep in mind that there are people who are afraid of dogs or are allergic to dogs. Even in the water, dogs must be supervised. Mutual respect applies, here as in all other contexts.

Watch out for algal blooms. Do not swim if the water looks cloudy, dogs are very sensitive to algae poisoning.
