First Camp Gunnarsö

On Gunnarsö, a few kilometers from the center of Oskarshamn, is First Camp Gunnarsö, the campsite for all ages. Here you vacation in a nature and archipelago idyll with the Baltic Sea as a backdrop. The campsite has beautiful hiking trails, sunny cliffs and child-friendly beaches.

Pedal boats are available for hire at First Camp Gunnarsö.

For children, there are many fun activities on beautiful Gunnarsö, where they can play all week long. You can also rent bicycles and pedal boats, to name a few activities. The possibilities for exciting discoveries on the island are many for the little ones!

The island also offers space for peace and quiet. With its beautiful location on the east coast, you are guaranteed to enjoy your vacation. Whether you are vacationing in a cottage, motorhome, caravan or tent, we are the destination for you. WiFi is available throughout the site; speak to the staff at reception and they will help you.

From First Camp Gunnarsö it is only three kilometers to the center of Oskarshamn, where you will find shops, restaurants, museums and the water park Arena Oskarshamn. You can also make day trips to Blå Jungfrun, Öland Zoo, Astrid Lindgren's World or Glasriket. For those traveling to or from Gotland, the Gotland terminal is only a few minutes drive from Gunnarsö.

Camping on Gunnarsö

It is a freedom to be able to take your own house exactly where you feel like going. For those of you traveling with caravans or tents, we have nice camping sites to choose from in several different areas and environments, sizes, standards and price ranges - there is something for everyone.

Pitches for motorhomes

At the entrance to the campsite is the parking lot for motorhomes. There is space for 48 motorhomes, with only 50 meters to a bay and 300 meters to rock pools and beaches. The site has its own service building with toilet, shower and washing-up facilities. Of course, there is the possibility of electricity and a nice latrine plate.

Cabin rental

If you don't have your own accommodation, you can rent cabins in good condition. The campsite has a total of 72 cabins in various categories. You can choose whether you want to stay near the sea or more secluded towards the forest. The cabins are rented per day. Extra beds, highchairs and cots can be rented on request. Final cleaning and bed linen can also be ordered.

Bathing area

The bathing area is located in the camping area and is open to everyone. Here you can choose whether you want to swim from the rocks or the sandy beach. There is a jetty and a diving tower with a highest ledge of 10 meters for the daring. There is access to changing rooms, toilets and a disabled ramp in the water.

Bike & canoe rental

The campsite offers plenty of activities for those who want to explore the surroundings. Here you can rent bicycles, segways, four-seater pedal bikes, canoes, rowing boats, pedal boats and SUP boards. Simply something for all tastes, whether you want to travel on the water or the road.

Mini golf

For those who want to do something fun together, there is access to mini golf at the campsite. The mini golf is a 12-hole course in the form of adventure golf. Challenge the family and see who is the best at this fun activity.
