Figeholm

In Figeholm you can still feel the winds from the time when the market town was home to hundreds of sailing ships. There are many well-preserved houses and environments to enjoy.

Walk along the Norrån waterway, from the popular guest harbor, past the Hamnmagasinet and up to the water mirror created by the villagers. Near the shop are some small picturesque fishermen's cottages. Along the river is the Stenhagen grove, which is now part of the Figeholm Natura 2000 area. The nature around Figeholm with its forests and beautiful archipelago makes Figeholm a gem.

There is a Coop supermarket here and agents for pharmacies, post offices and systembolaget, among others. You can eat good food at the local restaurant. Medical care, health center and dental care are available in nearby Oskarshamn.
