Two years ago, an apple orchard was opened in Ankarsrum, between Västervik and Vimmerby.

DELIVERY OF FINISHED MUST:

• 15/10 at 11-15 and 10/11 at 13-18

Your apples will be musted immediately, but we have a few delivery days to ensure that we have time to must all apples.

You choose the number of bottles you want your must to be bottled on, these are perfect to give away as a gift now that Christmas is approaching, then the rest of your must is bottled on the bag-in-box.

**How does it work to must apples?

• You bring your apples to us during our regular opening hours and leave your contact details. Expect 2 kg to yield 1 liter of apple must. We would like you to bring at least 40 kg (2 full Ikea boxes).
• We wash, crush, press, pasteurize and pack in 3-liter bag-in-box.
• We will send you an SMS with info that your must is ready.
• You come and pick up your must, see date above.

**Which apples can I muster?

You can use fallen fruit as long as they are not damaged and there are no animals on the ground. Minor bumps are fine, but the fruit should not be infested with worms, have any signs of decay or other major damage. As a rule of thumb, if you think the apple is nice enough to put in your mouth, it's fine to juice.

The apples should be whole and clean. Autumn and winter apples are the best, and a good sign that they have ripened is if the seeds have turned brown.
