Björneström och Näcken

At the end of the 19th century, the local furniture industry emerged in Björnström. At that time, there was a water-powered mill, a sawmill, furniture factories and dye works.

Today, the industrial environment from the turn of the century is preserved through the mill and several well-preserved older large houses. In the pond by the road stands sculptor Teodor Karlsson's sculpture "Näcken".
