Horse and carriage tour to Släthult Mill
Join a charming horse and carriage ride through the forests of Småland. From Släthultsboden, the tour follows winding forest roads at a relaxed pace down to the historic Släthult Mill from the 16th century. Here you can take a break, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and learn more about the history of the mill.
Along the way, you’ll hear the sound of hooves on the road and birds singing in the forest. With a bit of luck, you may even spot moose or deer.
The tour is suitable for groups of up to 10–12 people and takes about 40 minutes by horse and carriage. Including the stop at the mill, the full experience usually lasts around two hours.
Add a special touch to your tour
To make the experience even more enjoyable, you can book a fika with Ida’s cheesecake, made from a traditional family recipe passed down through generations. It is also possible to book a hamburger barbecue during the tour, featuring burgers made from the farm’s own meat and tasty side dishes. You are also welcome to bring your own picnic basket.
