Kenneth Johansson
selects the stone for his sculptures with great care, and he then processes them
with drills and grinding wheels. Kenneth describes his art as: “An attempt to
approach the simple. I want my sculptures to carry something unexpected,
perhaps surprising in their context. Something reflective, but not without
humour and warmth.”

He is represented at
Gothenburg Museum of Art, Lund and Smålands Konstarkiv. The sculpture ‘Kattfot’
(Cat’s Foot) in red granite and Corten (red/brown steel) is placed in the
roundabout above the viaduct. Purchased by the Municipality of Värnamo in 2008.
