Fiske i Kalvsjön

Kalvsjön with its unique insect life, fine fish quality and wonderful surroundings is perhaps one of Sweden's best fishing waters. A large number of rainbow trout are stocked in the lake every year, but the lake is also home to a self-spawning trout population. Around the lake there are a number of jetties and in between there are excellent wading spots. Kalvsjön is only open for fishing during parts of the year, from May 15 to September 30.

A fishing license is required to fish in the lake. The card is personal and only valid for the holder. Fishing licenses are purchased at the cabin at the campsite, on the west side of the lake. Cash payment or swish.

Camping facilities for fishermen are available on the western side of Kalvsjön. For camping fishing guests, there is access to electricity for a fee, and outhouses. At Kalvsjön there are nice barbecue areas, picnic tables and shelters.
