Beskrivelse
The name Gyljeryd is known from 1590 and was originally a farm with large areas of forest. In 1798, the farm was owned by Eric Wästfeldt at Ryfors Bruk. He wrote, among other things, that he was the owner of the most beautiful stretch of forest in the village, which was then called Gölgeredsmon. Gyljeryd burned down a few years ago and the building that stands here today is the croft Hulan, which was moved from Ryfors Bruk.
