Bredaryds Hembygdspark

Bredaryd local
heritage park was founded in 1938 and consists of several buildings from the
early 19th century to the early 20th century. It is a nice place for a picnic
and to get an insight into what the past was like.

There are two single
cottages, one with two storeys, a flax drying room, a parish warehouse, Pelle
Nyman’s workshop, an industrial museum, a sawmill, a forge, a church stable and
an exhibition room. The premises also contain a collection of objects such as
old tools and industrial objects. The park is managed and run by Bredaryd local
heritage society and includes the local heritage museum in Hamra just outside
Bredaryd, which consists of a cottage with a vaulted ridge beam ceiling and a
shed, both from the 18th century.
