Vandringsled Kullsta fäbodar Hammarstrand

Walk a nice forest trail to Kullsta fäbodar. Take a much-needed break at the pasture. There is a shelter and the opportunity to grill.

This trail is our longest and is a nice day trip or two-day hike. The trail starts in central Hammarstrand and you walk through the village for about two kilometers before you reach Kullstaberget. There the trail follows the edge of the mountain, up through the forest to Kullsta fäbodar. There is a barbecue area on the mountain pasture and a shelter.

Along the trail you can also find an old Bodkyrkoplats and trapping pits.

From the pastures, the trail goes through the forest landscape back towards Kullstaberget and past the toboggan run to the foot of the slalom slope. The last part of the trail goes on a road back to the center of Hammarstrand.
