There are three entrances to choose from. North: follow the E14 west from Östersund, turn right at the Ås junction and drive towards Kännåsen. Road signs show the way to the parking lot. South: follow Tysjövägen in Lugnvik to its end. West: follow E14 west from Östersund, five kilometers from town there is a long exit with a rest area.

Welcome to visit Tysjöarnas nature reserve. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• travel or stay in the no trespassing area during the period April 15 to July 31 each year
• bring an unleashed dog during the period April 15 to July 31 each year
• capture, disturb or injure mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and breeding sites or collect eggs
• picking and collecting species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
• climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than in specially designated places or with firewood brought along
• drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
