It is possible to reach the nature reserve by car. Turn off the E45 just south of Åsarna and head west towards Börtnan. Drive about 77.5 kilometers and turn left onto Materialvägen and follow the road for 5.5 kilometers. You are now at the entrance to the nature reserve where there is an information board.

Welcome to Sölvbacka strömmar. Keep in mind that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• pick and collect species of various kinds, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
• climbing trees, staying near birds of prey's nests, shelters or pits, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife,
• damage the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees, other dead wood, or the bottom of the watercourse and any pearl mussel beds
• make fires, other than with firewood brought with you and in places set aside for the purpose
• drive a motorized vehicle on bare ground.

Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to:

• carry out or conduct organized outdoor activities, competitions, camp activities, military exercises or other organized events,
• conduct scientific studies that involve the collection of species or have other impacts on the natural environment.
