Beskrivelse
Nabben's very old pine forest is characterized by its high growth rate. It is not uncommon to find 30-meter tall pines with a diameter of 50 centimeters at breast height. There are also many traces of fires. A number of mycorrhizal soil fungi thrive very well in the thin, thin forest floor. Some rare species of thorn mushroom and the goliath mushroom have been found. Smaller areas of spruce forest, mainly in hollows and damp slopes, have escaped the recent fire and have therefore taken on the character of a natural forest with flames and dry bark. Wood fungi such as wrinkled skin, patchy tick and woolly tick can be found there.

Utgå från Rossön. Vid korsningen intill Bodums kyrka svänger du av mot Bovattnet. Håll höger i korsningen efter järnvägen. Strax innan Bovattnet tar du vänster när vägen delar sig. Efter fyra kilometer svänger du in vänster på en mindre skogsbilväg, precis efter du har passerat under en kraftledning. Håll höger när vägen delar sig, så att du rundar Älgtjärnen. Efter tre kilometer kommer du till en vändplan, då har du Nabbens naturreservat på vänster sida

Welcome to Nabben. Please note that within the nature reserve it is not allowed to:
- pick and collect species of any kind, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
- climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife,
- damage the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood, make fires, other than with firewood
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
