Follow the E45 north from Östersund for about 14 kilometers. Turn right towards Åsen and drive about 9 kilometers before turning right onto Parkvägen. 900 meters into Parkvägen, the road splits and you turn left and drive about 2 kilometers. At the next intersection, turn left onto Skjörbuvägen and drive 200 meters before turning right onto Skavåsvägen. After about 1 km you will arrive at the nature reserve.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Meåsflon. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- pick and collect species of various kinds, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
- damage the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood,
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
