Beskrivelse
Here you will find easily walkable old pine forest in the north. In addition, there is old spruce forest that is almost untouched by man, as well as streams and lakes that have high natural and cultural values. Both forest types have an indigenous character. This means that the forest has had to look after itself for a very long time. From a small seedling, it develops into a mature tree and later dies naturally. This is why there is a lot of dead wood in some parts of the reserve. Everything from standing dry trees to lying trunks that have been broken down to varying degrees. It is also among the dead wood that the natural values are high.

Veibeskrivelse
From Strömsund follow road 342 towards Gäddede. Turn left at Bågede and continue until you drive through Svaningen. Just after Svaningen turn right towards Ringsjöhöjden. Then take the second turning to the left and follow that road for about 6 km. Then turn right, after about 5 km you will arrive at the reserve.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Luvkullvattnet. Please note that within the nature reserve it is not allowed to:
- pick and collect species of any kind, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
- climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife,
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make a fire, other than with firewood brought in.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
