Beskrivelse
The forest is mostly spruce, but large, 200-year-old pines are scattered throughout almost the entire area. They are survivors of forest fires in the area. The fires have also created a lot of deciduous trees in the forest, many of which are now old and long-awaited homes for many rare lichens.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located about four miles east of Bräcke. From Bräcke you drive towards Sörbygden. Just 200 meters before the village of Västanbäck, turn left and after three kilometers you will find Klyttkälberget on the left side of the road.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Klyttkälberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
- picking and collecting species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make a fire other than with firewood brought along
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
