Beskrivelse
I det här bitvis branta reservatet kan du uppleva 200-åriga tallar och en frodig granskog med förhållandevis mycket asp. Ett reservat för den lite mer äventyrliga besökaren.
Äventyret består i att ta sig fram i ett väldigt brant och kuperat område. På sina ställen ligger många träd som fallit till marken, som ett naturens "plockepinn".
Du kan hitta tallar som är 200 år gamla, granskog som är uppemot 150 år och många aspar har fått växa sig gamla och fått grov bark. Aspar finns i olika åldrar och i olika stadier av utveckling. Hackspettar gillar att hacka bohål i aspar.

Veibeskrivelse
Follow road E45 north from Överhogdal about 6 kilometers. Then turn right onto a forest road. After about 1 kilometer you will come to a junction, turn right at the junction. Follow the new road for about 1 kilometer until you reach a small turnaround on the left side of the road. From there you have to walk about 400 meters west before you reach the nature reserve. An information sign will be put up during summer 2020.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Frägnhällorna. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- pick and collect species of various kinds, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
- climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife,
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make fires, other than with firewood brought in
- drive a motorized vehicle on bare ground.
Without the permission of the County Administrative Board, it is forbidden to:
- clearing and maintaining paths.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
