A piece of fine forest, wonderful species and herb richness and Sweden's largest and most well-developed limestone tufa area - all this you get during a short walk just one mile outside Östersund.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is just under a mile south of Östersund. From Frösön, take the Vallsund Bridge and turn right after the bridge. Two kilometers later there is a road sign to the reserve to the left. After a couple of hundred meters you will find parking and an information board.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Fillstabäcken. Keep in mind that in the reserve it is not allowed to:
- make a fire
- camp
- hack, dig or otherwise damage the ground surface or solid natural objects
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs
- carry out scientific or other research without the permission of the county administrative board.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
