The turn-off to the Bjurälven river is along Vildmarksvägen, a few kilometers north of Ankarvattnet. Where the road ends, at the Leipikvattnet farm, there is a parking lot, picnic area and dry toilet. There are information signs and signposted routes into the nature reserve. The Coral Cave Nature Reserve borders the south of the reserve.

Within the reserve, it is prohibited to:

• drive a motorized vehicle off-road
• setting up a house or trailer
• damage the ground or geological objects
• break branches, cut down trees or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs, and otherwise damage vegetation by picking or digging up plants
• making fires other than in specially designated places
• disturbing wildlife, for example by close-up photography or otherwise
• bringing dogs that are not on a leash
• camping other than in designated areas
• damage land or geological objects or remove minerals or other geological formations
• diving in the area's water-filled underground cave system without the County Administrative Board's permission.
