Beskrivelse
Bastudalen consists of the mountain Drommen with its well-known ice river canyon Dromskåran. The terrain is hilly with steep, pine-dominated slopes and has a wilderness character despite the proximity to tourist facilities.

Veibeskrivelse
The area is bordered by Dammån and Bydalsvägen to the north and can also be accessed from the shared road between Bydalen and Gräftåvallen.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Bastudalen. Keep in mind that in the reserve it is not allowed to:
- climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
- damage the ground or vegetation, including dry trees and windfalls
- driving a motorized vehicle off-road.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
