Beskrivelse
In the 1830s, the notorious thief Österberg ravaged the countryside. He operated in a fairly large area and visited many parishes, including Gunnarsjö, where he had a thief's hideout under a large moving block in Torsebo forest. Österberg was the local Robin Hood, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.
This attraction is part of the Kungsjölederna trail, built and maintained by Kungsäter-Gunnarsjö Bygdelag.

OK from landowner to drive motorized vehicles on forest road about 1 km then on foot on path. Motor vehicles not allowed on path. During the grazing period, be sure to close any fences.
