Karlsvik is located in Varberg municipality. Directions: Karlsvik is located about 5 km northeast of Dagsås in the tourist area Åkulla bokskogar. There is no parking lot but there is, for example, in the Skärbäck reserve which borders Karlsvik.

To protect the nature reserve, the County Administrative Board has decided on special regulations, including those that you as a visitor to the area must follow and respect.

In addition to what applies under other legislation, it is forbidden to:

• Damage living or dead standing or lying trees and bushes,
• damaging, picking or collecting plants. However, picking berries and edible mushrooms is permitted,
• putting up a picture, poster, sign or inscription
• drive a motorized vehicle, the prohibition does not apply to hunting rights holders when
• transportation of fallen game,
• ride a bicycle,
• ride a horse,
• putting up a boat on land,
• make a fire,
• bring an unleashed dog with the exception of hunting with a dog,
• organize camp activities or competitions without the permission of the County Administrative Board, catch and collect invertebrates without the permission of the County Administrative Board.
