Halmstad Theater was inaugurated in 1954. Already in the 30s, the theater building was planned, but the Second World War meant a standstill for all construction. Halmstad Theater has a rich artistic decoration inside. Many of the artists who actively contributed to making the theater house a national affair are famous today. In the theater's foyer, a large wall fresco was created in 1953-1954, in which all the artists in the Halmstad group have participated.
