Bockstens mosse

This is where the Bockstensmannen was found in 1936, a moss corpse from the mid-14th century with a uniquely preserved medieval costume. The entire find is on display at the Halland Museum of Cultural History in Varberg, which is conducting research on the find. The man had three stakes driven through his body.
