If you are lucky, you can experience a "jumping night" in June-July, when the newly hatched chicks throw themselves from the rock shelves down to the waiting parents in the water. Stora Karlsö is also rich in orchids in early summer. In the Stora Förvar cave on Stora Karlsö, archaeologists have found around 7000 finds from the Stone Age. Hike on your own or join a guided tour around the island. Overnight accommodation and restaurant.
